Tornator is a leading European company specializing in sustainable forestry. In addition to Finland, we own forests in Estonia and Romania.
Our operating model is based on responsible forest management, strong environmental expertise, and the utilization of digitalization. Our core activities include sustainable forest management, forest acquisitions, and forest management and leasing services.
Tornator is a public limited company. Our main shareholders are Finnish pension insurance companies and the forestry company Stora Enso.

- Each year, we manage over 60,000 forest management sites.
- Our forests generate approximately 1,600 person-years of employment annually—mainly for our contractors and their employees.
- During the spring season, around half a million tree seedlings are planted on our sites every day.
- Over the past 10 years, we have planted approximately 68 million seedlings.
- In 2023, our tax footprint was EUR 46 million, placing us among the 25 largest corporate income tax payers in Finland.
